Tom Adams, Executive Director is Retiring

Tom has been an amazing asset to NAMI Nebraska. Tom spent a great deal of time heading the volunteer groups and educating the public about mental illness. A true advocate and a blessing to our organization. Tom will be retiring at the end of May. We wish Tom the best and he will truly be missed.

Lincoln Support Groups


  • Location: Lincoln VA (600 S 70th Street, Lincoln NE)

Day: Wednesdays (starting June 3rd, 2015)

Time: 11:00AM – 12:00PM

          Meeting is held in Building 2, Room 207 and is open to any adult who self-             identifies with having a mental illness.


NAMI Nebraska is Sponsoring the Bridges of Hope Workshop

A panel discussion on mental illness, and it’s impact on families, communities, and  individuals. The workshop is August 24th from 9am to noon. It’s being held at the Countryside Community Chapel. NAMI Nebraska Walks 2013 ahead

NAMI Nebraska is moving ahead with it’s NAMI Walks drive for 2013, and planning a really big year. Hospitals including Alegent-Ceighton and UNMC have been sponsors for several years. CMA industries is leading in donations as always, and many other sponsors in the private sector are joining in as well. We look forward to the 2013 NAMI Walks as being the best ever.

New Executive Director

Tom Adams is the new executive director, and we wish him a warm welcome as he leads NAMI Nebraska with Advocacy and Support. Jonah Deppe, former executive director, will continue to work with NAMI Nebraska as the role of a statewide Advocacy Director.
